Hi guys, a little help if you have time....?
My application is pretty much complete but as I'm working my way through the check list IM5491 I have noticed that there are a few items I am unable to check off. I wonder if you could give me your thoughts.

-17 Option C print out My wife and I are currently living in the U.K. so we wouldn't be able to provide this.

-18 Proof of employment / income We are both moving over to Canada and looking for work so when we go we will be in a word unemployed. My wife has some money saved in a Canadian bank account, would this statement do?

-19 Pretty much another version of 18 and 19?

-23 Children information We have already mentioned our son in earlier forms, do we need to add another document?

Sorry if these are silly questions but we have a timeline to get our paperwork back before my wifes deadline to hand her notice in at work and delays with our application would really cause a lot of hassle.

Thanks for your time.

17 - Provide the UK equivalent if your sponsor files taxes there, or else explain that your sponsor is not working on a separate sheet of paper.

18 - If neither of you works, provide the bank statement information. If your sponsor works, provide a letter from their employer. If you are the breadwinner and/or are self-employed, provide a letter from your employer OR a copy of your last tax return OR a copy of your business's last 12 months statement of activities.

19 - You are not required to meet a minimum income to sponsor a spouse only or a spouse with dependent children only, so this one is N/A.

23 - As long as the child is listed on the correct forms for the sponsored person, then this information will be where it should be. 1-21 apply to sponsor documents, 22-27 apply to sponsored spouse's documents.

Even though this is true I believe it's been proven on this forum that they do take longer time looking into those sponsors who don't have a fixed income source. I would provide as much proof as possible so that they don't waste time doing a bunch of background checks on you.
