Hello seniors !!
I was rejected thrice by US embassy for student visa. I have low academics with backlogs completed. I want to apply for masters ( this fall ). I Know that it is difficult to get study permit with low acads but a friend of mine told that I can get visa if I apply for diploma . So I am planning to apply for both masters and diploma . If I get visa (with diploma) I will transfer to the university. Is it a good idea ?
Can I get visa under spp for diploma ?

Profile:
Btech Information technology(2013) : 62% ( backlogs 11) 2 subjects exmpted by univ so its 9 according to my university
Gpa between :3.0 to 3.2
IELTS :7 (S 7 L 7 R 6.5 W 6.5)
GRE:290
Exp: 1 year by may 2014 (software field)

Applying to fdu vancouver, nyit, college of alberta, univ of concordia and still searching for univs and colleges .
Please suggest me on what to do ? Also add univs to my list that matches my profile.do I need to retake ielts ?

well I think ur confusing the issue normally with low grades u dont qualify for a university hence people go for college(one of the reason) . But if ur eligible to apply for a university and get admission to a university, visa chances r better for universities. This is my opinion that chances for visa are better for a university people may argue and there r no numbers to prove this. So if u get an admission to a university apply visa under university category ..again this is my opinion after all it is ur decision. Its not that simple as people say about changing college etc also ur trying to exploit the system so if by the time u apply for visa some rule changes u will be stuck. So be careful.

Thank you senior !! I got you . But I heard that visa officers allow more no of backlogs under spp colleges category is it true ?
Yes a friend of mine with more backlogs got admit in fd univ , vancouver . Also I met the fdu , vancouver guys in university fair held in my city they responded positively I should wait and see.
