Im Getting Married and im a refugee claimant

I am Planing to get Married my Girlfriend is a Canadian Citizen but i am a refugee claimant so i dont know where to start
- i am not having much help from my lawyer
-i am a refugee claimant living in Quebec but we are Planing in getting Married in Niagara Falls
i Need help , Advice or what steps to take so all can work out well.

Get married and give a copy to the IRP .
wait for the hearing if accepted then its fine
if not accepted then let your wife do the sponsorship

how long have you guys been waiting for hearing ?
i just completed my tenth months and now mail regarding to the hearing yet !!!

my hearing came after 2 years , some people after one year and some people after 3 or 4 years but i think now is faster
