A troll is a person that often posts ficticous or far out stories in order to get a response from other members. They can also be rude, unsupportive and mean. They sometimes post poor, untrue comments. Not very nice when people come to the forum to gain knowledge in this hard sad process

Thanks...I wondered if this was the case. I have had some disturbing personal messages from a poster here (won't mention names...I am above that) I suspected they were just trying to get a rise out of me and simply deleted the messages.

All I can say is I am here to gain valid and helpful imformation on my pending marriage and sponsorship application. I am disappointed to know there are others that would take advantage of this serious situation to satisfy some desparate need for attention or to raise anxiety more than it already is.

They applied to Canada first and were refused, and are now applying in the US. Since they applied to Canada first, I assume Canada would have been the first choice.
