I'm a civil engineer from India, wanting to pursue masters from Canada. My 10th standard 80.75%, 12th standard 90.6% and 64.41% in engineering. During my course of engineering I've missed some exams like I was absent for a total of 12 exams due to some genuine reasons and I failed only in 1 exam which I appeared for. So I just want to know that I'll have 12 backlogs or this is not considered as a backlog. My memo from university mentions that I was absent for the particular exam{f(ab)} . Do I've a chance to study from a University if I fulfil rest of the other criteria like IELTS, GRE etc. I've an year of experience.
Thanks and Regards
Er. Taha Adnan.

Nobody cares about your 10th or 12th, only your bachelor's matters which is rather low. Suggest you do GRE and get a great score to make up for your 64%

Ok Thank You for the suggestion. But what about the exams I've written later. Are those considered as backlogs?

You have to apply to universities to find out if you will be admitted.
Your are getting worried for NO reason.

I would say, you apply to one university and one college.
You can explain why you were absent from the exams in your Statement of Purpose - both to the university and to IRCC.

As Fall 2021 deadlines are approaching or getting over, your first step should be to apply to a university than worry about other things..
