Hi everyone, I will be graduating next semester (from a Quebec university) and have applied to a graduate program (in Ontario) that begins in Fall '19. My study permit expires in August 2019 and I don't know what are the requirements for getting another study permit for a new school. Is it better to wait until I get my degree (in May) to apply for a brand new permit?
Or should I apply to get a permit extension? If so, is my application going to be assessed based on my transcripts (like with a normal extension within a program)? I'm worried because I have a semester during which I was not full time and only took 9 credits and I'm wondering if this will impact my right to pursue a second degree.
Thanks for your help!
