Generally, you'll only get deported if you do something to raise flags, such as get arrested. Depending on your plans, though, you may need legal status in Canada to proceed - I. e., work to get experience for PNP or CEC.

Canada doesn't have "exit controls." They don't check each day to make sure people left on time. However, if you stay illegally, you will be a second class citizen of sorts, without access to the provincial healthcare plan or the ability to work legally. I'm not sure if that would "be worth it." (Only you can decide that.)

Keep in mind, if you are out of status and get a job, CIC will most likely request you to return to your home country to get your work permit. If you've overstayed already once, the chances of getting a work permit are almost 0.

Personally, I wouldn't advocate being illegal. It's not a way to live.
