If the Principal Applicant remains outside keeping his family in Canada will there be any problem in getting citizenship for them?

As long as they all land in Canada, the principal applicant can leave again and the rest of the family can go on and stay for 3 years and apply for citizenship.

Can you suggest a link where I can find "simplified instructions/proof". I and my spouse ( who is a Canadian Citizen) are married for 33 years and we have a child together who is now 28 years old. My Canadian Citizen wife is now living with me outside of Canada. So what communication documents we have to submit?
