If partners occupation is on list but mine is not -- what happens?

Does anyone know if the "magical" list of 38 occupations relates to both the main applicant and the second applicant? Application is in my name as I score the most points but if my partners occupation is listed on the "38" and mine is not, what would happen??

I've no idea what will be on the list but my partner is a HGV driver which is in great demand even tho it wasn't on the original NOC list. I'm an Office Manager/Accounting Technician which was on the NOC list but may not be so much in demand - hence my question !!

Would anyone like to speculate - IF my job is on the "the list" and I have sufficient points (which I do), how long between being notified they are going to process my application and receipt of visa?? and....how long do I have to emigrate before visa runs out??

if you r the main aplicant then your occupation shud b on the list cuz the case bring processed is with your scored points not your partner's and if your partner is the main applicant then his/her occupation shud b there in the list

Why don't we all wait until the amendments are officially published and after that try to give suggestions!?
