but one wants to replace ones passport before landing in Canada for the very first time, is that at all possible? (Not looking for an extension of the land date).

Would one be able to land showing both the withdrawn passport (with the stamp) and the replacement passport ?

Alternatively, would one be able to request of cic a new stamp, and submit via the vac perhaps both the withdrawn and the replacement passports ?

If anyone has some information about this, greatly appreciated . Thank you

Yes. Take both passports with you when you travel.

Make sure the passport office doesn’t damage or mark the immigration visa when they void the old passport.
