Hi all, I have been searching this on the internet yet still couldn't find an answer here.

I have been in the pool as a single applicant, if my partner proposed to me and I get engaged, am I still single in EE? I checked, as we live separately with our family, we are not in common law relationship?

PS: we have no plan to actually get married anytime soon in the wake of the corona virus, but I know he wanted to give me the promise first.

If you are not married, then you are single. I don't remember an option you can choose to say that you are engaged.

If he’s not on your application and you don’t live together then you are single as far as immigration is concerned. If you want him to be on your application you have to be at least common-law.
