HI I had originally got a visitor visa for two years. I stayed in Canada and left to India and came back on Feb 18. The officer said I my entry is for 6 months but the sticker in my passport says my TRV expires April 16. What date is the correct date April or August?

I went to few different consultants and everyone had a different answer.

No, this is a mathematical question. I think he came to Canada on August, entry is for 6 months, sticker in his passport says TRV expires April 16. OP return Feb 18. The correct date should be August.

The expiry date of a TRV has nothing to do with status in Canada. If he was given 6 months upon entry, then he can stay 6 months.
