IETLS Academic

Hi there!

Does anyone know why they don't accept the academic IETLS for citizenship? I took the test a month ago and got a band 8 in both sections. From what I've been reading these sections are the same no matter what test you take. I don't want to take another exam because they are expensive. I don't have a LINC certificate either

I'm sure the only one accepted is the IELTS General training, it's weird especially if we know that the academic version is harder in writing and reading sections..
It's the same thing with French, they only accept TEF while they refuse other academic versions coming from the same institution.

Assuming you completed studies because you had taken the academic IELTS, what about proof of your studies in an English language institution?

If you took IELTS Academic then you would have been studying here, right ? Upload your transcripts and / or certificate & you are good to go.
