can Ielts only to be valid while submitting the file ?
As per my case query is
• Ielts will expire on 24 oct 2017
• Can i still go for jan intake if i apply in aug month with this ielts ?

Yes, you can. Validity is calculated on the day of application.

even my ielts will expire on aug 8th and i have applied for sep intake. visa application was filed online on 15th May. Do you guys think this will cause any issue in processing visa? As good boy said validity is calculated on the day of application , if so, then it shouldn't be of any issue. Seniors please do let us know your thoughts on this.

As far as I understand, it should not be a problem.

In case I am wrong (I'm pretty sure that I'm not), if this is your only cause of rejection, you will overcome it in 1 month's time and apply for next cycle. So cheer up!
