Hello, I have got my Ielts (academic) scores and they are listening 6.5 speaking 7.5 reading 6.5 but In writing 5.5 so I just need 0.5 in writing and I feel I have done well.. so can I go for revaluation are there chances that 0.5 marks can increase in writing ?

Chances to get extra .5 are too low also you would have to pay close to 10000 for re-evaluation (correct me if I am wrong on this) ..it's better to retake IELTS if you are confident enough.

Its better to retake ielts but chances are 50/50 in both cases as you never know how exam will be? So if you feel you have done well in writing but did not get desired score, then definitely go for revaluation.
