What should be the score of IELTS, so it would be a pass for immigration?

Their is no pass and fail. It all depends on some factors like - one's NOC & qualifying points. For the NOC of teachers, the visa offices had started asking for better IELTS score, like 6.5 or above. Except for those few applications where the applicants scored more than 67/100 and visa office still was not satisfied, no one faced problem.

for scoring maximum points in IELTS..you need to have the following:

Listening : 7.5 = 4 points
Reading, writing and speaking : 6.5 each = 4 points each

Totalling to 16 points.

for anything lower in corresponding section mark yourself 2 points.
calculate accordingly..all the best..
