IELTS score for CEC NOC A (2174)

Friends,

My first post to this wonderful forum. I just received my IELTS score today and I got L-7, R-8, S-7 and W-6.5 and my Overall Band score is 7. I will soon be applying my PR under CEC class, NOC 2174. I thought I just need to score 6 in every module to be eligible to apply under CEC for NOC A.

But I am little confused with below information that I found in one of the posts (Sorry, I cannot post links)

"hi. i think your ielts result won't qualify.. based on your noc skill level a. the explanation says, 7 in all of the abilities or, 6 of any one of the abilities and 7 or higher in other 2 and 8 in the remaining ability."
Probably the language requirement mentioned in above post might have been outdated.

Please let me know if my score is good enough to apply under CEC for NOC A (2174)? I would appreciate if anyone can give more clarity on below CLB chart from CIC. As I see 3 records for NOC A in below table, I am assuming that I need to meet at least CLB 7 for NOC 0,A and that I have to score at least 6 in all 4 modules for CLB 7. Is that right?

You score is good.

Your score is good enough. CIC says it's has to be band score of 7, however, if you score 6 IELTS points the CIC gives you a 7 band score.
