Ielts score eligible to apply?

Hi,

I'm preparing to apply for PR and I messed up my IELTS exam really bad. This is my score

Reading : 4.5
Writing : 5.0
Listening : 5.0
Speaking : 5.5

The NOC code is 6314 which is Level B and acoording to website, I just meet the requirements.

My question I ask:

Should I re-attempt again? because I feel this might be too low and I should at least get a 6.0 in all the bands or the cic officer might reject me because of such low scores?

Your score is fine, as per CIC:

If you gained your skilled work experience in Canada in a NOC B job, you must meet the minimum level of CLB 5 in either English or French for all four language abilities.

one more question since I still have doubt on this.

Suppose I do my Ielts again and I manage to get 6 on all the bands, would this score give me a better chance or it would be the same when the officer sees it? I mean would the office tend not to reject me because of the higher score?

It's Pass or Fail (or Met/Not Met). No advantage for Acing it.

All they care is whether you met the CLB level or not, Pass or Fail. Higher score doesnt give u extra points or anything in CEC
