IELTS Score:7.5,5.5 in one section,eligible for PR Application?

Hi,

My IELTS Score is 7.5 but I got 5.5 in writing section.

My other scores are
Listening:8.5
Reading:7
Speaking:8

I have done my Graduation of 2 years from Canada followed by one year work experience in an insurance company in Downtown Toronto.

Would I be eligible to apply for PR under Canadian Experience Class Program?

FSWP => IELTS = NO

IF your experience if of the type 0, A then you require at least CLB 7 [IELTS equivalent is also given on CIC website, search for it] & CLB 5 for experience in NOC type B.

Hi melvinmi,

get your Writing module rechecked. Im positive that your band will be increased to atleast 6.0. I have been told that the writing band is dependant on the examiners discretion (unlike listening and reading where your answer is write or wrong) so go for an Enquiry on result (EOR). I was also a victim of such situation but fortunately the EOR proved fruitful.
