IELTS Results required for spouse also ??

Hi All,

I am applying for a PR under CEC (2 years of skill A work experience).My wife is a dependent and she has been staying in Canada for a month only.

As a principal applicant i know that i have to take IELTS. Does she also have to take the IELTS exam?

Awaiting a response. Please help

Only principal applicant needs to appear for IELTS. Not anyone else.
