She asked for the new ratings, When new FSW will be opened in May 2013. According to that she scores 24 points.

24 is the maximum she can score...

or you can score 4 more points in 2nd official language i-e French..

Thanks for the feedback. Very much appreciated. So additional points can b gained for French. But that is not mandatory if I gain the required points in the other Factors. The link is very useful.

Hi!

Yeah 2nd official language is not mandatory. You need to score score 67 points in all...

That's correct. But please also note that you will be able to score up to 5 language points in adaptability for accompanying spouse's language proficiency.

Therefore if you're applying with an accompanying spouse and an provide language score results for them, this may also improve your score.
You are, however, not required to do so - you just won't get the extra points.

Ok..Wayne..so additional points can be gained by
1. Taking up the test in French.
2. Spouse taking up IELTS.
Any information recvd abt certificate evaluation ?
