Hi,

Is it necessary to sit fior IELTS test? even if you have done schooling/graduation for English medium and working in country where communication is done primary using English.

yes it's necessary for all Main applicants to set for english language testing (i.e. ielts) in order to get the language points.
Even people who have english as mother language must have an english exam.

Now IELTS is compulsory, long time before it was not compulsory (Optional) as per Canada rules you have to claim English points with the help of ur language of instructions during academic and also what primary language u use during work. But now IELTS is compulsory for every one who wants to apply for Canada PR.
