i think u r wrong here. as the queen of england is also the constitutional monarch of canada so she wudnt need to apply for canadian PR. altough david cameron will have to sit ielts if decides to migrate to canada.

Dear fellows my friend is not convinced and argues how come a british passport holder has to go for IELTS. Please attach reference if it has become compulsory to that extent. Thanks

Tell your friend that I was exactly the same as him. I only have one language and that is English. Bloody joke that I had to take the exam but then I think about some of the people I know in the UK and I wouldn't call what they speak English so I guess it has some merit.

The IELTS exam I found quite difficult as it isn't setup to test people who are fluent in English. When it came to the speaking test the question they asked me was so rubbish half my time was used up arguing that the question was written in bad English and was so simplistic it was impoosible to talk about. Luckily I made up the points in the free speaking section.

Then, our friend above should as a matter of urgency, fly to British Council to pay and begin reading for IELTS if still interested in Canada FSW.
