A. Your accompanying spouse or common-law partner’s level of language proficiency

Your accompanying spouse or common-law partner’s level of language proficiency in either English or French is at the CLB 4 level or higher in all four language abilities (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

IELTS SCORE FOR CLB 4: LISTENING = 4.5, READING = 3.5, WRITING = 4, SPEAKING = 4

Hope this might clear your doubt.

Thank you sansanlaosu for your response. It is wrriten that spouse shud have CLB 4 level but points for CLB level 4 are not given on CIC website. CLB level 5 and above level points are mentioned there.

Thanks
