Dear friends,

Please HELP. I am in serious doubt if it will cause any problem. My IELTS test report has name "Touhid Ishtiaque (Rajib)" which is from my old passport. Today I got my new passport with the corrected name "Touhid Ishtiaque" .. removed my nickname which was printed in braces in my old PP. I did this because all my certificates does not have nickname in braket (i should have done that before my ielts test). My old passport is canceled now and my new passport has reference to my old passport.

Now I am about to apply for PR in canada. Will it be okay to send my current IELTS test report to the Visa office in Singapore? Will I have to reappear in IELTS test with the corrected name? Is there any provision to correct the name in the test report? If so within how many days will I have to correct this after the ielts result is published. I got my result 1 and half month ago.

I was thinking to submit copies of both my passport, old and new, to the visa office with the application, so that the Visa officer know "Touhid Ishtiaque" and "Touhid Ishtiaque (Rajib)" is the same person. Do you think it will help?

Waiting for your response.

Thanks
