Dear Friends,
I heard that IELTS general exam is only for Migration formality. ..and it is not enough for getting a job in Canada.
For getting a job in Canada , IELTS academic should be passed with some required band.
Is any truth in this news ?
Please tell your experience after landing and while trying for a job....

Generally you do not need IELTS at all to get a job. IELTS General is required for immigration and IELTS Academic for studying, i.e. to enter some University.
