IELTS is necessary or not

Hello friends
I have heard from some one that IELTS is not necessary for immigration skilled worker could u please confirm IELTS is necessary or not

It depends.

If you are a native of an english speaking country then you probably get this advantage of not providing IELTS test report but still you have to prove this fact you are a native english speaker and posses excellent english skills. However you can still be asked to provide IELTS report.

i totally agree with rajnik1976. but as far as my understanding they ask for ielts more than often even from people who are from english speaking places. so be ready for it.
