Hi Senior members,

I understand that i might be asking this question where answer already exists here.

My application was received by CIC on May 21, 2013 and my IELTS completed 2 years on June 11, 2013 (i had taken test on June 11, 2011) i.e. Three weeks before my IELTS completed 2 years.

Do you think that i will get my AOR or they will return application? and do i need to retake IELTS?

Also, This is my second application, Earlier one was refused for missing Reference Letter. I read on CIC site that i can use same IELTS results until it is not more than 2 years old.

Please suggest.

"Note: Keep a copy of your language test results for your records and future use. You may use these results in the future for another application, as long as they are not more than two years old when you apply. You may also use these test results to prove your language levels if you are approved to immigrate and then apply to become a citizen. There is no expiration date for third-party language test results for citizenship applicants. "

You answered your own question - you're fine

does it mean that u can use a photocopy of the test result in case of reapplying?? sorry, where do u get this information?? I know for sure that u need to submit the original one

I think you are fine. As long as when you sent your IELTS results that were not older than two years.

If you reapply you MUST send the original test results. They won't accept photocopy (it says in the checklist). Usually when you do the IELTS test for Permanent Residence you can request two copies - one for yourself, and another one for CEC. You can use the other copy if you reapply. But no photocopies. You probably have to retake the test. But you don't have to worry about this, I think you are okay.

Comments from other users?

You should be able to contact IELTS to get an official copy of the results - this would be fine to reapply with. A standard photocopy will not be sufficient.

So test results can't be older than 2 years when you submit your application, right? What about PCC?
It shouldn't be older than 3 months on the day you submit? Or on the day you receive AOR?
I applied for PCC from my home country a week ago, and am submitting CEC beginning of september, about 2 weeks
before my PCC will be 3 months old. Is that ok?

Hi,

I got this information on the cic site only. Below is the link.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/language-testing.asp

Also, i had submitted original copy. I had requested my test centre to give me another copy. Initially they were reluctant but later they agreed to give when i explained them.

And thanks to all for answering.
