I am planning to apply for immigration to Quebec; as I know, I should make the TEFAQ; now my questions are:
1- Is it preferable that I make the TCF test instead? Does it provide higher no.of points, looking to the fact that it covers oral, production, written and comprehension? Or in the TEFAQ the four dimensions of the language can be covered???
2- I have a high English language proficiency, should I make the IELTS in addition to the French language test? Would that give additional points in my application?

Thank you for your support and feedback,

Lars

Hi Lars I took my TEFAQ recently and you can take the 4 skills in the same exam, you have to pay extra for the written production and comprehension just ask the French Alliance near you.

I think TEF or TEFAQ is easier than TCF because the is a little bit more study material for those 2.

2. If you take IELTS and depending on your score you can get up to 6 additional points for Quebec. Good luck!
