I need to do some study whilst on my IEC work permit. I know I am allowed 6 months of study on the IEC but I don't know how, or whether, Citizenship and Immigration Canada track how long I am studying! The sum of the course days should be below 6 months, but I don't know if they would count individual days or use official start and finish dates. Also, is there anyone I need to tell about the study? Do I need to declare it in some way so it can be tracked?
I really hope someone can help!
Thanks vey much!

It's not that the sum of days should be six months or less - it's whether the program duration is listed as six months or less full time. What are you planning on taking?

I am only taking 2 modules from a "bridge to nursing" programme and each module is about a month, I think. The other thing is that, due to circumstances, I have to take one module on the Fall programme and the other on the Winter programme. I think the overall programme is about 6 months, but I am not taking all of it. I just want to make sure whoever keeps track of my study doesn't count the whole programme, or worse yet, both the Fall and Winter programmes as a whole, as I won't be taking all of them.
Hope this makes sense.
