IEC visa

Hi, I'm hoping someone can answer my question. I spent the summer in Vancouver last year on an IEC visa. I'm currently at home in ireland but would like to go back to Canada for a few more months. I was given a 2 yr visa, valid till may 2020 but have since had my passport renewed. Is the visa still valid if I travel with my current and old passport (visa has old passport number on it)

yes , it's totally fine if you had a valid visa on your old passport or work permit
