Hi there, just a quick question. Im wrking in a company now and my IEC will be expired on Sept. Is there any ways for me to extend my wrk in Canada? Like a wrk permit? Thx.

Yes - your employer will have to first obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

Once the LMO has been approved, you can then apply for a close work permit.

The LMO process takes several months to complete - so you'll likely want to start working on getting the approved LMO six months before your IEC expires.

Thank you for ur replied. Good to noe. Btw its make me a little confused. So..once I got the LMO then I can apply for the regular work permit? or is tht the one u show me on the link as Temporary Foreign Worker Program? Your information is useful thank you again.

I'm not sure I understand your question.

Once you have an approved LMO, you would apply for a regular closed work permit.
