Hi guys, my situation:
IEC visa expires next Wednesday October 14.
My intention is to visit the US this weekend, and re-enter Canada as a visitor for a couple of months. All legit - I will be presenting travel insurance, bank statements, outbound flight and a letter from my previous Canadian employer saying I am no longer working to the border officer. I hope that will be sufficient evidence for him/her to let me back in.
Does it matter if I attempt to re-enter 2 days before the IEC expiry? My trip to the US has me coming back to Canada on Monday October 12. I'm worried that because I technically have 2 days left on the IEC visa that this will conflict with my request to stay as a visitor.
Do i need to extend my stay in the US until after the expiry of the IEC?
Thanks!
