I'm currently stuck in a little bit of a waiting rut and haven't really been able to find any other current topics with this subject so thats why I'm posting.
My husband and I are both Swedish citizens currently living in the US and we've applied for two different categories within IEC. My application was sent on June 9th, and my husband's within the first week of June. We included the Swedish background check with our initial application and we also included proof that we a few weeks before had requested a certificate from the FBI (when we requested it the FBI website told us it would take 12-14 weeks). When the certificate finally arrived (around 2 weeks ago) we added them to our file with CIC and have now been waiting 10+ weeks. According to CIC website current processing time is 8 week from when they've received the application to when they make a decision.
Basically my question is if anyone else has been in the same situation where it took this long? How much longer should we wait before we start to worry? If anyone else can share their experiences in a similar situation that would be great!
