Doesn't seem to be a very good time for me during the last few weeks...
Anyway, had submitted all required paperwork for the IEC working holidays program on April 2nd via myCic and was waiting patiently for an answer.
Received an email from them today, logged in my account and saw that they were requiring proof that I had left Canada before December 26th (had visited Toronto for my honeymoon on June 26th) and proof of my current whereabouts. As I went to the checklist to see exactly what they'd like to see and upload it (have kept the return tickets on July 5th, booking info etc), saw that it had the label "overdue".
After further inspection, noticed the letter had the date April 18th on it and a deadline until April 28th but only received it today, something that can also be clearly seen on my account!
I'm very disappointed as they say that if they don't receive the requested paperwork until the deadline, they will base their decision on the rest of the documents, so guess it will be a no since they wanted the extra info on the first place.
Have sent an email to questions@cic.gc.ca but the automated response said something about 30 business days to respond, so not having too many hopes about it... Anyone ever had any similar experience or any advice to offer?
