Hello

In the Immigrant guide there is a section that states that for any family member that is a Canadian Citizen or PR of Canada we must provide

- Citizenship certificate
- PR card
- Record of landing
- Immigrant visa

I am applying for my wife's PR. I am a citizen. My kids' Citizenship certificates are being processed and we will not have them for months.

What should I submit in this case for my kids? The kids are not listed in Imm0008 but they are listed on other forms so the lack of documents may be an issue. Would I write a letter explaining the situation, submit a birth certificate that has been translated and notirized? some document from the embassy that shows that these documents are being processed?

Thank you for your help

As you mentioned, you can provide an explanation in writing about the situation and include the documents to support it. You should also include a birth certificate, it is a required document.

I sent a receipt of citizenship app of my daughter (dual citizen) from Canada embassy in S. korea
and Korean birth cert. (translated and notarized in English)
