I am currently in Canada on ICT Work Permit(Software Engg) valid until April 2013. Due to personal reasons I may have to resign. My spouse is also here in Canada on ICT work permit(Software Engg) with same validity as mine.
Can I continue to stay in Canada until expiry of my current work permit even after resignation? If yes can I apply for PR after resignation and before expiry of my work permit?
Or do I need to change status from Work Permit to Dependent visitor?If latter then can I apply for dependent visitor visa from within Canada?
