I worked for rogers as a technician from last 10months.but today they laid me off due to covid19 .i planning to apply for skill pnp. What should i do

I started my work with sub contractors of rogers on june 3 ,2019. I got trained and working with them since then but today i recieved a call reagrding information that company lays me off. I have 10 month experience as a cable and residential technician. I was planning to apply for skill onip under category B.i was 2 month away from that. So i am really worried about my future. Any suggestions or ideas . Thank you
