I received an email with a letter today saying that we never submitted the biometrics today at 10AM:

Payment Receipt: We have not received your Biometric Fee payment of ($85) on file. In order to avoid further
delays in the processing of your application, the required biometric fees have been recovered from the Right of Permanent
Residence Fee (RPRF) that you initially submitted with your Application for Permanent Residence. Please submit the
outstanding payment of ($85) by following the instructions below in order to complete your Right of Permanent Residence Fee
(RPRF): https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?category=10097.
If you have recently made your biometrics payment, please resubmit a copy of your receipt to avoid further processing delays.
To submit the receipt, please use one of the highlighted methods below or contact the Call Centre, toll free, at 1-888-242-2100.
This must be received at this office by: 2022/12/31

We submitted it via webform a month ago.

Earlier today, at 7 AM, my wife received an email saying:

Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).



We acknowledge receipt of the documents and wish to inform you that they have been added to the file. Please note, for technical reasons, they may not be visible in your online account. Rest assured that your supporting documents are indeed added and available for officer review.

· If your enquiry was solely to provide documents, please note this is the only response you will receive.

· If your enquiry included additional questions in addition to the documents, they will be addressed separately, as soon as possible.

Which, if we scroll down, has the message that we sent regarding the biometrics fee receipt (which included the attachment of the receipt, and I put in text the information present in the PDF as well).

We just linked the PR application to her IRCC secure account today because it suggested in the email that I received that we could instantly pay the fee online through the IRCC secure account.

I went to investigate, and there are NO options to submit anything anywhere.

I clicked on "Check full application status" for the PR app, then clicked "View submitted application or upload documents" where there is this questionnaire thing that I guess is the "submit fees thing"? but HERE it says:

There are no required documents for this Online Application.

and that Summary of fees is $0?

So what is going on here and how do we pay the rest of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee if the web form didn't work?

Did they send the messages out of order or mess up somewhere and then update the application again accordingly when they noticed there is indeed a biometrics fee paid? We are terribly confused about what to do in this situation. There's no option to go and pay the remaining Right of Permanent Residence Fee.
