I paid the fees to the wrong destination

Dear Forum Members

Applying for sponsorship of my wife who lives outside Canada, I paid the fees online.

At the start of the paying process they asked me to which processing center I send my papers, and I apparently chose the wrong one (Ontario instead of Mississauga) and continued to pay my fees and got the receipts.

There is nothing on the receipt that mentions either places.

Is that a big problem? will it affect my application?

Not a problem, Just write a simple letter what you did and paperclip this too your receipt. They should be able to take care of the rest. I had called CIC with the same error I did and got approved with no delays.
