I have wrote many time without getting a reply,so i decided to write you personal. I will like you to advice me on what to do. I had been denied visa twice and the reason was that i didn't have a travel history, the purpose of my trip and i don't have a business in Canada. I applied for a visitor visa(going for conference)I have been to European country, Dubai, west Africa

The documents i submitted with my application are,Birthday certificate of me,my wife and my son, landed property, invitation letter, hotel reservation, employer letter, leave approve letter, payslip, police certificate etc.Still i was refused visa and the reason for the refusal was that i don't have a strong tie to my country that will force me back to my country.

Please what are those things that might convince the consular as a strong tie to someone country...please i need a hint on this.

I will be so glad to hear from you soon
thanks in anticipation

Before someone can answer your questions, I have some questions for you:

Who gave you the invitation letter? Do you apply as a family of 3? How much funds did you show and how long did you wish to stay? Why there is a conference fee and you have to pay for the conference? Is the conference for the whole family or just you? Can't you tele-conference from your home country?

thanks for your reply

The Conference gave the invitation letter,No i only applied for myself,am the only person going for the Conference
I will be spending just 4 days and i show $1000 which the consular wrote, fund Ok
I paid for the conference and beside am a member of the organization that organized the conference, which i also showed my membership card
No i can't tel-conference from my country, don't have such facility

Please i need your candid advice as am preparing to give another trial

Did you provide an itinerary with your application? What is the nature of the conference? I don't think $1000 is enough since together with the flight, lodging, local transportation and meals probably cost more than one thousand dollars.

God bless you for taking your precious time to reply, highly appreciate you

Do you mean if i provide an itinerary,(meaning to explain how i will be spending those 4 days in writing)No i didn't. The conference is all about Electrification and it been held every 2 years interval.
The $1000 is the money i will be spending during my 4 days visit in Canada, which cover the conference days,i also already booked for hotel, the total amount in my account was $15000 which i presented with other documents

Then you should provide an itinerary that indicates your arrival and departure dates, what you would do in those 4 days in Canada, etc. Best if the invitation letter would cover this, otherwise you might need a explanatory letter to explain this.
