when you package is received at the cic office do they send you notice of receiveing your package or they sent a letter only when your sponsor is apporoved.

They reply when your sponsorship has been approved. Unless you sent it via a trackable method, you will not be able to find out if your package has been received before then. It's not a long wait, they are supposed to be averaging 43 days to approve sponsorship at CPC-M.

I would strongly advise sending the package via priority mail, if possible, so you can track it using a tracking number. You shouldn't have to worry about it disappearing once it gets inside the building, it's the trip getting there that worries me. That's why I'm shipping mine overnight, so there's less chance of it accidentally falling out of a truck or something...
