My last name is very long and part of it is missing in my PGWP. I don't want problems when re-entering Canada so I'm trying to get it corrected with form IMM 1436.

They ask for two forms of ID:
1. Photocopy of federal or provincial/territorial government issued photo identification OR if unavailable, photocopy of government issued or internationally recognized photo identification from outside Canada prior to your entry to Canada. (See "Gather Documents" section in the Instruction Guide for examples)
2. Photocopy of another form of government issued or internationally recognized identification from outside Canada before your entry to Canada indicating an error was made. (See "Gather Documents" section in the Instruction Guide for examples)

I'm confused about that bold part for the second ID. Can anyone help me with what they mean?
I was planning on including my driver's license for (1) and passport for (2), but I'm also confused if (1) can be a Canadian document or if all of it needs to be from before entering Canada.

Thanks
