Hello, my wife (American) and myself (Canadian) have just sent in our sponsor application for permanent residency (inland) and today I find myself confused more than ever about the proccess. Maybe it's because some of the information is out-dated, but I was under the impression the sponsorship would take no more than a year, and my wife would be able to work after the first stage approval (which I thought was around 3 months.) from what I'm reading today we should have gone the Outland route, which seems to be much faster. I have a few questions hopefully someone can help me out? 1. What's the benefit of applying inland over outland? 2. If I apply Outland can my wife still live with me in Canada on a visitors visa? 3. Is it possible to cancel my inland application / get a refund since we only sent it in 3 days ago? We have many more questions but let's just start with these ones!
