i need some advice

hi everyone, i would like some advice please.
i been with my girlfriend for about 2 and half years, I recently traveled to her country of birth.
and i really want her to be part of my life!
she is here in Canada with a study visa, i am going to marry her and sponsor her to Canada but her study visa is going to expire in about 6 months.

can someone tell me the steps of what i should be doing first please as this something i never really thought about.

Well, I think after her study visa runs out she can apply for a visitor extension. If she has a clean record (probably since she has a study visa right now) then this shouldn't really be too big of a problem. They usually grant visitor visas in my experience. If you do get married to her, you can then apply for permanent residency. While doing this she can continue to get visitor extensions during the process.

OH let me make sure I don't get you into trouble. Apply for the visitor extension before it runs out. Like a month before, a couple weeks before, whatever. Don't let your GF lose her status. I just wanted to make that clear so that I don't get you both into trouble!

if she have studied in University/college and would get her degree/certificate/diploma, she can apply for post graduate work permit.
depending on her length of study, she will get PGWP up to 3 years: she should apply for in 90 days after she completely finished her study.

if she is in Canada to study English, she can not apply for PGWP.
Then as JamesinCanada mentioned, she has to apply for change of status as a visitor : apply before her study permit is expired.

when she holds PGPW or visitor visa , you and her can apply for sponsorship.
inland app normally takes longer, so you might wanna look for which visa office she would have and process time on CIC.
