Hi!! thanks for always there to help guys.. i need your help again!! i need your opinions and suggestions. i know that at the end of the day it still boils down to what i want but i really need to know your opinions and suggestions..pls.

I went to my agent today to submit my full docs but unfortunately i have a problem with my current employment document. At the time that i filed i was still a nurse 2 so in my initial application in canada i was a nurse 2... but during this update, I will be submitting my full docs as nurse 1. There shouldn't have been a problem if i was filed before i was promoted.. but i just learned that i was filed almost 2 weeks after the promotion. So by the time i was filed, i was already nurse 1! I didn't bother telling them about the change of position because i thought i should contact them about any change during the updates.. They said it will cause a problem and it might take time for them to verify. :( Do you think attaching an affidavit saying that i failed to tell my agent about the change because i was not aware of my change of position until november when i was already filed will be honored/accepted? any thoughts?

Hi,
imbubbles

To give you the detail answer I should need to know the following,
What year you applied, under old or new rules.
What is your visa office and country of applying,

As per I know there are two category in 38 occupations list as FSW 1 for nursing staff as following NOC

3151: Head Nurses and Supervisors
3152: Registered Nurses

CIC is not categorizing as Nurse 1 or Nurse 2, This may be in your Hospital / institute which they are having internal or own category or salary scale which they are using for promotion or demotion.

For further you can see the list on link (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp)

Hope this will help you

i applied under the new rules.. i was filed 4th week of Oct 2009 but i got the promotion (same nurse position, actually, but there was an increase in my salary) on the 1st week of Oct. At the time i submitted my application to my agent i was just earning the minimum wage and under conract of service.. that was on the 3rd week of SEpt. I am now semi-regular already. So on my application to Canada (CIO) i was under contract of service but in reality (an honest mistake), i was already semi-regular and earning a much higher salary when i was filed...i really thought i was filed before i was promoted. My VO is in Manila. Thanks..

Change in grade in your office can always be captured in full document submission. It is not a problem at all. Just write it in a covering letter.

thanks barsido.. but do u think this will cause delay and will take time to verify?
