If you can't do the medical x-ray due to pregnancy, then your application (and your parent's application) will be delayed until you can (so around 8 months). Once you have the baby, you can do the medical, and your baby will be added to application as another dependent (assuming baby is not Canadian by birth).

If you are under dependent child category, you need to make sure you do NOT get married or become common-law during this time, else you will no longer be a dependent.

Hi same situation. Im running 6months pregnant until we got the medical request. My parents dont know about this. Will it be okay to name my baby on fathers surname? We are still not yet married but it is allowed here in Philippines to have fathers surname. Or should I have my surname ?thanks

You can name your baby anything you want but you can't live together with your boyfriend as a couple. Otherwise, you would be seen as common law partners. After you land as a PR, you can go back and marry him and then you can sponsor him. This has to be done in the right order. You can not marry him before you get your PR because then you would no longer be a dependent and would be removed from your mothers application.

Okay. But do I have to continue mu education ? I am now 23 and we filed our application in 2009. Under my mothers application as a caregiver program.

Hi

yes, you have to.

Actually no, since she was included in her mother's application in 2009, which would make her under 22 so her age was locked in.

Age -yes, but not any other requirements she has to comply at the moment of getting visa.

Overage dependents, those who were 22 or older and full time students when the application was received have to continue studying to keep their dependent child status. Those who were under 22 and whose age was locked in don't.

In both cases they must remain single.
