Hi All,

Can any expert please guide me?

I would like to seek help from an expert providing my details for initial assessment ONLY, and then later I would like to apply by my own without any lawyer.

Earlier I have taken couple of online assessment tests to check my eligibility, and I have been qualified under NOC: 2173. But later in this forum I came to know that it is valid only for arranged employment from Canada.

So I am little confused to come to a conclusion that under which criteria I am eligible to apply for PR.

Here is a brief description about me.

Male, Single
Status: H1 B (valid till Sep 2010)
Age: 31
Education: Mater's Degree
Occupation: Software Engineer
Work Experience: 40 months worked in India.
Currently have 23 months of US work experience.

Appreciate if anyone could please help me take a step further based on my details, as I have been struggling from couple of weeks to assist myself through online assessment tests.

Note: I have no employment sponsorship from Canada.
Thanks in advance.

Unless you have managerial responsibilities under NOC 0213 you don't qualify under the FSW1,2,3. Alberta no longer accepts 2173 under their H1B program.

Thanks for your reply!

Ok, if I don’t have managerial responsibilities, then I am not eligible under FSW 1,2,3 as well Alberta.

So you mean I can’t proceed further without any employment offer?

Please let me know what is the best way to check my occupation is eligible under which category? I thought my back ground would help me file the case without any employer headache like in US.

Please suggest what to do in my case.

Thanks
