I missed a question on my WP application form

I submitted my work permit extension application and only after a while I found out that I had skipped one question at the end - about the military service. I did actually serve in the army, but my application form has NO for that question.
How will it influence my application for Permanent Residence? I am planning to apply for PR in the future.

You have to correct them as they will asked you for a service record when you apply for PR in the future. Do not wait for the immigration to find that you have indeed serve in the military when you answered no on that question.

I don't know how to let them know about my military service now. There is no way of amending the application.
