I lost my passport and I want to renew my permanent resident. pLEASE HELP.

Hi there,
I have been 8 years in Canada. I lost my passport since 2010. I have noticed the police station at that time and I have paper of that. My PR is expired, and I want renew it. How to renew my PR? I have sent my renew PR about 4 times and didn't go through. It always return back with one question" please send your passport". There is no way to get a new passport , as ths passport should be issued in my country and I have nobody there to do it on behalf of me.
Please kindly help me. I wanna apply for citizen soon and I am sure they will ask me for PR.

Where are you from? For most countries, you can obtain a new passport by applying through an embassy or consulate located in Canada.

I am from Iraq. Iraq's embassy asking for a new Iraq's identity. it means I have to go back to Baghdad to get it. There is no way to go there and I have no one there as well.
